AndRCForb is an unofficial Android client for KG6YPI Brandon's RCForb system which allows amateur radio operators to connect to dozens of public online remote base transceivers from the palm of your hand. Or you can even operate your own station over the internet while you are away from home by the using the server software that you can download from

AndRCForb code was written from scratch based on the RCForb protocol with the exception of a small portion of the audio code which was contributed by the protocol developer, Brandon Hansen (KG6YPI)

AndRCForb is still in beta and only implements essential radio control functionality. Radio specific controls are not yet supported.

Other known limitations:
Uploading your license and requesting transmit permission is currently not possible in-app
Antenna and rotor control is not yet implemented.
Limited to vertical orientation only
CW transmission support is not yet supported

Known bugs:
Updating lobby list causes it to close unexpectedly

Privacy policy: 

AndRCForb contains an in-app chat and all chat messages are publicly viewable by any other user on the server.
Log in data and transmitted speech (when enabled) are sent to 3rd party servers operated by the remote base owners. The app author has no access to usernames or passwords entered in AndRCForb.
