Anonymous users, those who didn't login cannot post comments on the apk nor see the comment box. This is a major deterrent in getting more users to comment on the apks.
If you only allow registered users to post comments, that's fine. But you should at least allow them to see the existence of the comment box and request user to register an account when they are going to post the comment.
Either that or allow Anonymous comments at the risk of spams. (I know our site had received a lot of comment spams previously, so I had to disable it altogether as it is not essential for my purpose.)

You might want to consider to use the anti-spam mod for drupal, especially if you allow anonymous comments.
Btw, Captcha does not eliminate spam. There are many manual spammers around which can be blocked by anti-spam mods via IP address, e-mails, blacklisting, etc.
