Comment on the touch controls on high-end devices

On my nexus one you just touch, say the rotate area on the screen and it appears to smoothly repeat and you just keep rotating faster and faster, or shooting out more dots in a continuous stream. A coworker with a Galaxy S and another with a Droid found that you had to rub your finger back and forth just a little bit in the control area to get the same smooth effect -- or tap repeatedly -- but the rubbing worked better -- being software guys we think the developer just needs to test on these devices more and maybe gate the touch events a little more smoothly? Anyhow we liked this app once we realized it was pretty non-violent and all...
P.S. on an ancient G1 it also works smoothly with just a fixed touch -- no rubbing required. So programmer take a look at your touch code! Otherwise -- good job!
