How can these codes be useful to me?
Using a code is the most efficient way to transfer a diagnosis from one physician to another (especially if you don’t speak the same language). E.g. you are traveling abroad, something happens to you and you visit a local doctor. How much time you need to explain your medical record in another language? Then, you get a diagnosis from the local doctor and you want a second opinion from your regular doctor back home. Without codes it is much more difficult to do that.

Complete and accurate diagnostic and procedural coded data are necessary for research, epidemiology, outcomes and statistical analysis, financial and strategic planning, reimbursement, evaluation of quality of care, and communication to support the patient's treatment.

Why install this application?
