CatDroid is a Disk Catalog Browser and Search tool.
If you have many CD's, DVD's BLU-RAY and/or external drives, you may occasionally find yourself searching through your massive amount of disks to find a file you need.
CatDroid can help! All you have to do is scan your media once using the FREE desktop application Archive System (link below), then transfer the resulting catalog database to your Android device (can reside on SD card), then start up CatDroid. CatDroid can open up the catalog database and browse your media's file system via the catalog database. Even more importantly, CatDroid's search function allows you to search for files based on name, telling you which of your media disks the file resides on, along with the full path to your file.
The Archive System desktop app that creates CatDroid-compatible catalogs can be downloaded for free from:
