Better Keyboard 8 Unlocked v 8.9.7 lets you customize your Android device's onscreen keyboard layouts, skins, fonts, languages, and other optional features, including typing suggestions, auto-correction, and dial pad support.
The app's keyboard layout options include Full QWERTY, compact QWERTY, and T9, among others. You can personalize your keyboards with custom skins and assign your preferred font settings to any keyboard layout.
Better Keyboard supports many languages, including: Arabic, Czech, Danish, Deutsch, English, Espanol, Finnish, French, Hungarian, Hebrew, Italiano, Korean, Netherlands, Norwegian, (Bokmål), Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovenian, Swedish. Just download the appropriate free dictionaries to proceed.
You can also get help from Better Keyboard as you type, in the form of auto-correction and suggestions. The keyboard correction algorithm can catch and correct your typos as you go, so you don't have to worry about hitting every key correctly. Get typing suggestions from a smart user dictionary that prioritizes your user-defined terms. Both of these features can be enabled in Settings.
All keyboards include number and dial pad options. In settings, you can load a contact dictionary linked to your phone's contacts.
This is an unlocked version of the latest update of Better Keyboard 8. It's fully unlocked with all functionality available to be used immediately after download.

The keyboard is fantastic, the best I know for Samsung (the native HTC keyboard is good as well, but Samsung is very bad).
The dictionary download is working (see my question below), I have been using this keyboard for six month now and don't want to miss it (just reinstalled it after resetting my device to factory settings).
One little annoying thing: in the German dictionary the litte but frequent word "für" is missing and for some reason it won't be saved either...

Ah, its so good to have better keyboard back.
I upgraded android on my phone, and couldn't find this in the market place, for reasons explained elsewhere. But I missed it so much, I decided it was worth going through the hassle of installing the SlideMe app, creating an account, and buying the keyboard all over again. And after just 5 minutes I'm so glad I did - it is way better than anything else.

Great keyboard..best one out there on the market. I am just very upset that I have already paid for it last year... and now it isn'tavailable on the android market anymore and am being forced to payfor it again... I've tried contacting the developers via email with no result...not a very good way to do business if they expect users to purchase future applications!!!

Skins
The keyboard works fine but if I want to download a skin pack, it won't load the page...anyone else with the same problem?

If you purchased it through SlideME, you do not have to pay again to download.
You can login to your StorageLocker and re-download your purchased applications in case of a device reset or an application update.
From the SlideME Market (SAM) app installed on your device, go to menu, more and then StorageLocker. Enter your SlideME credentials and you will see the list of all applications you can re-download for no charge.

hi, i payed that apps on the market a few month ago, i had to re-image my android device from scratch and i do not get the better android keyboard from the market. i still do have my google checkout original mail that proof my purchase. how can i get the application now?
in the email checkout i can read this
"Better Keyboard Unlock Key - ==If you had previously purchased this unlock key, you do NOT need to buy it again, just email us the order number then we... "
so what is your email, so i can mail to you that number, i've been trying to reach you guys for the past 2 weeks.
