The Kids Spelling Learner (KSL) is mainly targeted for the kids who are just into schooling and trying to learn how to pronounce English alphabets, frame and learn basic 2 letters words, 3 letters words, 4 letters words and some complicated English words.

KSL is divided into 3 main modules.

1. English Phonetics: With this module Kids can know what each English alphabet is and how to pronounce that. Each alphabet is supported through an audio media and starts to animate to indicate that alphabet is being played.

2. Learn Spelling: Under this module, Kids can learn the spellings for different lengths of the words. By default the module starts with the 2 letters words by animating the appropriate length at the left side of the screen. By touching the required letters length, can change to different set of spellings and can navigate through set of words using previous / next buttons.

3. Test Spelling: This is the module to check the learning of the Kids using the above 2 modules. This module randomly displays an image and garbled set of letters present in the image’s word. Looking at the image, Kid is expected to frame the correct spelling for the displayed image’s word and submit by touching the GO. Based on the result, an audio media is played and can proceed further.
