Here you will learn how many hours of work are required to buy your next home, car, table, sandwich or whatever else. You will also be shown the percentage of your life required. This is the percentage of remaining life that you will spend working to obtain the selected item.

The objective of this app is to help you think of money differently. We have all heard somebody or ourselves say "It is only $100" or "Wow that is so cheap!", without actually thinking about what has really been said. I believe if we took more time to think about the number of hours required and the impact on our life we might think differently before purchasing that sports car worth a years salary.

In addition to this, LifePri$e includes over 100 pre-programmed profiles which include top celebrities, trades jobs, middle class and high income occupations which allow you to see and compare yourself to others.
For example: find out how many hours of work it would take Tom Cruise to purchase your house. Or calculate the number of hours required to purchase your desired life style if you were an Electrical Engineer, before making that career switch.

Salary and occupational information to build up the 100+ profiles comes from research using online tools which include Pay-scale, Glass-door, About-Salary and Pay-Wizard.

All profiles use your entered age when calculating the percentage required and therefore are with respect to you at all times.
