Kanji Ryokucha provides a native interface to your SRS kanji reviewing at Kanji Koohii (kanji.koohii.com).

Important: you need a Kanji Koohii account to use this app.

Kanji Koohii implements the spaced repetition system as a complement for James Heisig's method from the book Remembering the Kanji.

  • Sync your review status
  • Start a review session for either Due, New or Restudy pile
  • Draw the kanji on the front of the card -- notepad no longer needed!
  • Submit your answers to Kanji Koohii

Kanji Ryokucha is an independent app that uses an API provided by Kanji Koohii for this purpose. It is 100% free, no ads, no strings attached.

Kanji Ryokucha requires Kanji Koohii credentials solely for the purpose of establishing a session on the site and let you access the data associated to your account. Neither the credentials nor any user data is shared with any other parties in any way. You as a user may choose to let Kanji Ryokucha save your Kanji Koohii credentials on the device’s local storage (without encryption), which would only be for your own convenience. Data from your flashcards (including custom keywords) may also be saved locally by the app to perform the advertised functionality.

Very useful. Perhaps some options to change pen thickness would be usefull but otherwise great app.
