Great app, would highly recommend it!

Great app, would highly recommend it!

I've looked far and wide for a good combination GPS, compass and odometer. This one stands out far above the rest. The data is easy to read and the controls are very easy to operate. I live in Artesia, MM not far from Carlsbad so I really appreciate being able to change the compass control from GPS to magnet when I'm spelunking. Overall a great GPS/Compass.

Just for fun, I set my phone running GPS WPX Lite next to my Garmin GPS on our ride from Eagle Lake Wisconsin to Rochester, New York. The odometer readings were the same as were the the GPS parameters and speed. My Garmin does not really have a navigation compass and the compasses on GPS WPX Lite run EXTREMELY smoothly. What really sold it for me (not that it cost anything) was the option to turn the compass control from magnet to gps mode. It is also great that the gps data gets backed-up for power failures. This is a great free GPS definitely worth getting.

Probably the best free GPS on the market. After trying many GPS apps, I got frustrated with the confusing interfaces and poor odometer performance. You don't have to be an expert cartographer or experienced navigator to use this app. The interface is slick and intuitive and the data is accurate. The odometer doesn't lose accuracy at low speeds and is the best of any I've seen on a phone. I especially like the fact that my data is backed up so I won't lose my progress if I have to change battery. Great app. Thanks.
