I don't know if it's a problem from Gameboid or the BIOS, but I can't get past the beginning cutscene since the game resets on its own everytime. Anyone else having this problem?
I have same issue with restarting. Best workaround is play on pc untill just after that spot and transfer the save back to droid.
Other than that this app blows my mind. Workes great on my kindle fire
for the bios, the way i did it, in the description of this you tube vid, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOlN5eTaUfw there is a download link for the bios, i then made a new folder in my phone, called roms, then just copy/pasted the bios to roms, then got some roms, exracted them, then copy pasted the .gba files to roms folder in my phone

I have a samsung nexus, with ice cream 4.0.2 and i have gone through all the setting numerous times to turn off vibrate, but still does the same thing when i play the gameboid, if anyone can help i would appreciate it.

But in the English ROM, it can be normal save.
And this Chinese ROM can be save in VisualBoyAdvance1.8 of PC.
I have tried many methods to save in the Game, but it doesn't work.
I really hope there are some methods can transform *.ss0 file to *.sgm file which is the immediate save file of VBA1.8. It would rescue my game!

Pokemon Platinum GBA is a hacked version of Pokemon Emerald.
It works perfectly on visualboy advance, but when i try and load it into gameboid after the starting sequence the screen flashes with different colours and then goes black with the music still playing.
Other users have had this problem as well.
I am using the European version of the game and I get weird colors on special effects seen in battles and in the intro.
(Unsure if this happens with the American version, but the sound restoration patch was only made for the European version, so I don't want to switch over to the US version.)

Hey Yongzh, great app and all, but could you fix the crash in Banjo Kazooie: Grunts Revenge? A few seconds into gameplay, it will just cut to they bbs startup screen.
i have download it. but when i try to use it, it says that my phone has a sercurity setting to where i'm not allowed to use it because it's from an unknown source. can anyone help me? my phone is the Motorola BackFlip.
On my Xperia Arc I can set that via Settings --- Applications -- Unknown sources -- Allow. I suppose on your phone it could be similar. Hope this helps
I have both this and the GBCoid which works fine but when I try and find games with this it gives me the message "you must have the gba bios file before you can play any games" anybody know what to do?

That very first game - Wonkie Guy. It's incredibly fun and even though it's incomplete, I play it all the time - sad to say it won't work for anything on Gameboid. Think it's a mapper issue or something that could be fixed?

it won't let me log in to sam when I go to download the gameboid and I can't get it from android market because its messed up and says I purchased it but it won't install.I go to sam and it just say invalid credentials even tho I am putting my name and password in.am I supposed to put in my username or my real name.I tried all sorts of things but nothing works if anyone has any suggestions it would help.

Savestate loading problems
Whenever I load any savestate, the screen goes black and returns to the ROM Select screen.
This happens to me on Gameboid, Gensoid, and Gearoid.
My tablet is a Window N50DT running Gingerbread and is likely unsupported.
Sidenote: SNESoid and NESoid work perfectly.
Anyone else have this issue?

Weird graphical glitch with Final Fantasy VI Advance

This emulator works well on my Xperia Play, though you could optimize it for Xperia Play a little more by updating. Excellent emulator!!!

You will need to obtain the BIOS file called "gba_bios.bin".
Due to the shaky legality concerning ROMS and BIOS, I can only say Google and Emuparadise are your friends!

This program appears to violate the GPL.
It looks like it is based on gpSP, it has gpSP's settings file in assets/game_config.txt. gpSP used to be released as open source under the GPL.
Gameboid does not appear to even mention the GPL or provide an offer of its source.
