I've one doubt. I can move my camera (Foscam 89???) left, right, up and down, but cannot stop it's movement.
The movement only stops when it reach it's maximum angle, so being stucked at that positions. Any way to stop it when it begins to move, or am i missing something?
Hi Alexey,
I agree with the others. This a great app! Your Android app is easy to use and easy to set up.
I have a couple of questions/feature requests:
1.) When I'm viewing my DLink DCS-920 camera on my HTC G2 phone with Android version 2.2, I keep seeing messages such as "Video Failed (-1 - Unknown)" and "Connection reset by peer". However, everything is working fine! I see my image, and it's a motion image. I think maybe there is a very brief period where communication is lost, but it quickly recovers. Maybe you could implement some sort of lag before an error message occurs to see if the connection recovers? Or, could you add an option to shut off those messages on the display? Again, everything is working fine, but yet I still see those messages periodically.
2.) When I quit the app and return to my home screen on my phone, I still see the message periodically "Video Failed (-1 - Unknown)" even though I'm not using the app anymore. I have to go to Settings and force the app to quit. Any way to stop this? I am concerned that it is draining my battery when I'm not using it.
Thank you for your consideration. This is a great app you've developed.
Alexey,
What a great application, thank you. I am having one problem possibly you can help me with. I been unable to get my DCS-920 camera to work via Tiny DVR
Vendor is Dlink
Camera Codec is M-JPEG
valid port, user, pw, channel are correctly entered.
error 401 is returned (unauthorized)
I have been able to get other vendor (i.e. Panasonic) without
problem.
Alexey, I'm stuck. I can't get Tiny DVR to work. I am able to view my cameras using IP Cam Viewer just fine (but I hear Tiny DVR's better, so that's why I'm trying to use it). I put the same IP, port, username, and password into Tiny DVR as I put into IP Cam Viewer, but all I get in Tiny DVR is a blank screen. I'm using TrendNet IP422w cameras on an Incredible running Android 2.2. Any thoughts about what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
Tiny DVR supports Android 1.6 and above. LG Eve has Android 1.5 which is not supported by this application. Try to update your phone firmware (if it possible) to the more recent Android version.
As you requested, I would like to provide you with the ip address and a guest account login for my 4 camera q-see system, but cannot find any way to contact you.
