I used this with my iphone and it works fine, but i just changed to android recently and download this as i already in love with it..but i my message sending failed every time i tried...how do i fix this?

Hi Keith, i've downloaded the new version and noticed that the (+) button next to the To: field was gone... still have to copy numbers manually. I'm using HTC Desire (Android 2.1) btw.

I have this on my iPhone as well, great app. Thanks for developing this. ^_^

Thanks for reporting that! You should now be able to just start typing a contacts name and the number should appear in a dropdown... Except I just tried it this second and it's not working on my phone either! I haven't no idea how such a major bug got past testing!

I've had a few beers right now, so I may not have a fix for you straight away, but I'll definitely get one to you over the next day or so...

lolz... after reading my previous post, i realised i forgot to include the issue with typing the name and no dropdown, good thing you mentioned it. I had beer myself when i posted that message, so must've slipped. ^_^

Hi Flynn, sorry for the bother but the contacts still isn't working on HTC Desire. Still doesn't allow me to select anyone from my phonebook and have to key in the numbers manually. :(

I've heard of this problem on a couple of phones. Try making sure that your contacts are listed as "Google" contacts, and see if they work then.

The problem is that the contacts were designed to work on Android 1.5 and the Android folks completely rewrote how contacts are accessed since then. This must have broke the way I access the contacts in a handful of cases.

I have had jellysms on other devices , and am a recently moved to the HTC desire , I immediatly downloaed the full version of this app , cos I know its great - now I just hope that the problem with picking contacts will be sorted quickly for 2.1 cos its a pain in the ass not being able to select a contact.

Thanks for the feedback. The issue of not being able to select a contact on Android 2.x is of a lot of concern to me. It is right up at the top of my priority list, so please bear with me as I hope to resolve it (one way or another) in an upcoming release.

yeah, got the paid version as well (on HTC Desire), hope the problem is fixed soon... I was using this on my iPhone as well. Great app.
