This is a tale of a cat called Puss. After he managed to obtain a pair of boots and a bag from his master Puss promised his master that he would make him rich.

Puss told people that his master was actually the Marquis of Carabus. Everyone, including the King believed Puss. Eventually after more trickery by Puss, his master got married to the King’s daughter.
