Send Text v2

SendText allows you to send text to any app*, directly from the search box on the homescreen.
* app must support ACTION_SEND intent with EXTRA_TEXT (of type 'text/*')
Post a message to twitter or facebook, send a text message or email, create a qr code or a note, all without opening any apps but simply by typing into the homescreen (this should open up the Quick Search Box automatically)
Your query must begin with the words "st", "send" or "text" followed by the text to send. Choose the Send Text search result below to select from a list of installed apps.
Please ensure the Send Text searchable item is enabled in search settings.
Send Text is only 8kb. It has no permissions, background activities or advertisement. See website for source code.

I never need to find my way
I never need to find my way to any apps input screen again. instead i can just start typing into the homescreen's quick search box (prepending "st") and then select the app i want it in.
I did have to expand the "more optios" search result a few times but now send text appears in the search results right away. This app works on all my phones from a G1 to a Galaxy Tab.
