GameBoid is the very famous GameBoy Advance emulator optimized for Android.
- BEST compatibility compared to any other GBA emulators running on mobile devices.
- Run most games at full speed with sound
- Customizable on-screen translucent keypad
- Save/Load game states at ANY point!
- In-game battery save
- Cheats
- Fast-forward (turbo)
- Switching between multiple key profiles
*NOTE*: I am making this app free for download only for a limited period of time (eg. 2 weeks) to make already-paid Android Market customers happy. Thanks for the understanding!
The Best GBA emulator on my xperia play, excelent!
Don't wait, grab this one now! Excellent GBA emulator with working save states and cheat files. Recommended! Use a bluetooth controller or turn your phone into one with BT Controller for easy play.
Superb emulator but can anyone make another on-screen button lay out for tablet? L/R buttons are too far away on portrait mode on my Galaxy Tab 7
Loved this on my old phone, but having a weird problem on Ice Cream Sandwich!
Not all the menu options appear, so there is no way to switch ROM, and there is no way to QUIT the game! Please please please fix this, I would be willing to donate to the developer if you fixed this!
I have the same problem as everyone else with the YP-G70. The A and B buttons overlap, making most games unplayable. Also, I don't know if this is for all devices or only the YP-G70, but Need for Speed Underground freezes at the EA Games screen. Please fix these issues, I really think this is the best app for Android.
cant use b.button + arrows at the same time
this kinda sucks
still awesome tho
I don't know if it's a problem from Gameboid or the BIOS, but I can't get past the beginning cutscene since the game resets on its own everytime. Anyone else having this problem?
for the bios, the way i did it, in the description of this you tube vid, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOlN5eTaUfw there is a download link for the bios, i then made a new folder in my phone, called roms, then just copy/pasted the bios to roms, then got some roms, exracted them, then copy pasted the .gba files to roms folder in my phone
One problem im having is when i play these games on gameboid, every time i press a button my phone vibrates, which is killing my battery, and there is no option to turn this off. I have a samsung nexus, with ice cream 4.0.2 and i have gone through all the setting numerous times to turn off vibrate, but still does the same thing when i play the gameboid, if anyone can help i would appreciate it.
