Application is developed for remote monitoring position of cell phone, based on information from cellular base stations. After installation, you must send sms with one word “Cellmap” (without quotation marks) to that phone, and afterwards phone, on which this application is installed, will respond back with sms containing MNC: xxx MCC: xx Cid: xxxxxx LAC: xxxxxxx .
No configuration required. No GPS data required.
Tested on Android 2.1 and above.
Some applications may conflict with Cellmap, such as:
Youlu, SMS Popup, Handcent SMS are trying to process the incoming SMS first (before any other applications).
MIUI firmware modifies the SMS processing. If you are using it, all SMS sending/recieving actions are visible as system messages.
